Alfa Romeo

– 2000 –

'Sprint'

“This very rare Alfa Romeo 2000 is now in concourse condition.”

This car arrived in a tired state and needing a partial renovation to the body work. There is no simple way to restore paint work and body panels. It requires years of experience and expertise, as well as patience to hammer out and rebuild the panels as required. In the past, car manufacturers applied what is called ‘single stage’ paint; these were thin, fragile and prone to oxidation (the white foggy marks often seen on classic cars).

The Alfa was stripped down to basics in the most damaged areas. The body work was repaired and we matched the original colour as per the client's request. All the components of the Alfa were re-chromed from the wheel caps to the bumpers and grilles. Getting the right type of chrome renovation is important; you want it to last.

The interior of the car was completely renovated by our superb team of dedicated in-house trimmers. We sourced the finest leather in classic colours to achieve a traditional look in line with the client's wishes. New carpets were made to the client's specifications using the best materials. The wool heading was also completed.

The dashboard was restored to its original design with every detail being taken into consideration. The electrical system was also partially renovated by our in-house electrician.

Finally, the Alfa was fitted with high-quality soundproofing to add to the superb driving experience this classic has to offer.
